About Us
Mission
The mission of the St. Mary’s Music Academy is to provide the very best instruction in music to all students so that they are enabled to discover and develop their musical abilities for a lifetime of enjoyment.
What We Offer
St. Mary’s Music Academy provides private, professional music
instruction in piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, organ, and guitar
throughout the year to students of all ages with a goal of a lifetime of
musical enjoyment.
Tuition
Students pay in advance for a month of lessons, on or before the first
lesson of the month. The lessons may be for 30, 45, or 60 minutes.
Performance Opportunities
Students may participate in bi-monthly recitals held at St. Mary’s
Episcopal Church on Sunday afternoons. Piano students have the
opportunity to participate in the North Carolina Music Teachers
Association district and state contest-festival. Students who earn superior
ratings for their performance will perform in the honors recital for the
North Carolina Music Teachers’ Convention each October. Opportunities to
perform in local retirement homes are also provided for the students.
