
St. Mary’s Music Academy Student Policies
1.
$35 registration fee for all new students.
2.
All students must pay in advance for a month of lessons, on or
before the first lesson of the month. There is a
$20 discount for each referral that results in a new
student who enrolls.
3.
A late fee, 10% of bill, will be charged if payment is
not received by the tenth day of the month.
4.
There is a $20 charge for a returned check.
5.
Students are expected to commit to an entire year of lessons,
including the summer months.
6.
If a lesson needs to be canceled, call the teacher as soon as
possible. Students who are sick should refrain from coming to lessons. Our
staff will try to make up lessons due to illness.
7. No make-up lessons are scheduled for student cancellations
(including school and/or family trips).
8. Teachers will make up any lesson that they have to cancel at a
mutually convenient time.
9.
Contact your teacher if there is inclement weather to see if a
lesson will be taught as the Music Academy often remains open.
10. All books and materials must be brought to the lesson each week.
Students who come without books or instruments cannot be taught.
11.
The Music Academy has the right to
use student’s names and photographs in promotional and educational
materials unless we receive, in writing, a statement to the contrary.
12.
The acceptance of these policies is confirmed by the payment of
tuition.
