St. Mary's Music Academy is a community music school (501(c)(3)) for children and adults, enriching the musical environment of High Point and the greater Piedmont Triad.
What We Offer
Founded in 2001 by Margaret McDonald, St. Mary's Music Academy has been enriching the lives of children, adults, and families through exceptional music education for more than twenty-five years. What began as a vision to provide high-quality musical instruction has grown into a respected community institution dedicated to artistic excellence, personal growth, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
St. Mary's Music Academy provides students of all ages and levels with a strong music foundation through personalized instruction and guidance from highly qualified teachers. We believe that music education extends far beyond learning an instrument. Through music, students develop discipline, confidence, creativity, perseverance, and the ability to express themselves.
Located in the Community Life Center of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, the Academy offers a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for learning and artistic development. We are proud of our distinguished international faculty, whose members hold music performance and education degrees from respected colleges, universities, and conservatories around the world.
St. Mary's Music Academy offers private instruction for children and adults in piano, guitar, voice, violin, viola, cello, harp, flute, and RCM Music Theory. We also offer group music classes for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers through our partnership with Gate City Musikgarten.
