Tuition & Payment Plan

• SMMA students can register for 30, 45, and 60-minute lessons once or twice a week. To ensure high-quality music education and good progress, we strongly recommend that all students older than 8 years old take at least 45-minute lessons. The fees are $36 per 30-minute lesson, $51 per 45-minute lesson, and $65 per hour lesson. We offer a free trial lesson to every prospective student. Registration is open year-round, and merit-based scholarships are available.

• Monthly tuition is due on the 15th of each month by personal checking account draft (ACH). Payment by cash or check is accepted; however, we do not accept credit cards.

• The annual payment plan runs from September to August and is divided into twelve monthly payments. The yearly tuition amount consists of the overall number of lessons in 12 months multiplied by the lesson rate. All holidays and school breaks are deducted from the 12-month payment plan. While some months may have fewer lessons than others, the monthly payment always stays the same.

• $50 registration fee and $25 access card fee are required for all new students.

• All cash payments are due on the 1st of the month.

• A Late Fee of $30 will be assessed for all late or declined payments.

• The Academy reserves the right to suspend lessons until the student account is paid in full.
